Completely out of the question.

  1. Create Unity: One of the simplest ways to bring together the look and feel of a showroom or retail display is to avoid using too many textures or styles. Through the repetition of color and shapes — across furniture pieces, accessories and artwork you create a visual map that is easy on the eye and comfortable to follow.

  2. Play with Sizes! Attract the attention of buyers with accessories that are related in terms of color and texture, but vary by size. Try using short, medium and tall accessories to complement your main pieces.

  3. Less is more: This is the golden rule of merchandising and should always be kept in the back of your mind when outfitting a showroom or retail display. Using fewer items — including accessories, artwork and furniture pieces — that make a greater impact will keep your interiors interesting and give you a more sophisticated look!
